Dr. Maria Meiler

Managing Director

Maria has been a leader, coach, trainer, and consultant for 15 years. She has worked in leadership positions at Google, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and the online startup world. Maria holds a Ph.D. in mathematics and is the founder of three companies.

Leaders trust her competent and empathic guidance, particularly in challenging situations. They seek her support in strategic realignments, deep-seated conflicts, and complex negotiation cases. Maria works on the interface of business & strategy, facilitation & mediation, coaching, and training.

Maria specializes in neuroscience-based methods. She furthered her education through postgraduate studies in neuroscience and is an ICF PCC coach, certified profiler, and negotiator. 

  • Since the beginning of her career, Maria has been actively managing change processes. In particular at Google and at BCG, she worked in hybrid roles, as a manager, as a strategy consultant as well as an organisational change agent. Through her work, she empowers organisations by introducing new ways of working, emotional intelligence and targeted process adaptations. Her studies in organisational psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (second subject) continue to enrich her career today.

  • Virtual work has been part of her operating environment from day one. She honed her digital and virtual teaming skills in the agile tech environment. Maria gained first-hand experience throughout her career in how remote work techniques, virtual tools and informal communication channels can boost collaboration and strengthen team and leadership to enable efficient decision-making.

  • At Google and as Senior Director Consumer Business of the online platform Experteer, she gained in-depth knowledge of digital business strategies. At BCG, she was a core member of the Digital Acceleration System. Maria actively managed ‘end-to-end’ sales and marketing strategies, she also worked with clients on process automation and programmatic methodology. She has learned to program for herself and has recently advanced in Machine Learning (Stanford program).

  • Maria is a professional coach, trained by the ‘Gold Standard’ Co-Active, CTI, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the world-leading coaching association. Her specialties are methods rooted in neurobiology and interpersonal coaching on negotiation and conflict management. She works as an executive coach and manages mediations.

  • Inspired by modern techniques from design thinking and Liberating Structures, Maria has been developing a new and flexible training style. She has invested heavily in versatile, research-based training formats that follow a modular approach and are available online and offline. With the Virtual Academy, she has established an online learning portal with modern e-learning formats and tools. Additionally, Maria has been teaching at a German university for several years.

  • Over her career, she has developed sound moderation and facilitation skills. Lately, she has been moderating large events in the political environment (primarily energy and transport sectors) as well as for large associations and company events.

Starting in investment banking, she worked in a leading international strategy consulting firm before transitioning into an operational leadership role. She became the first female successor of the family’s 5th generation iron foundry. Caroline joined us in 2021 to co-found and co-lead the Female Power Retreats series.

Navin is an entrepreneur in the field of leadership development. He is focused on larger leadership development programs and executive coaching. Navin has worked in leadership positions in various roles, at BCG and as CEO of a regional juice producer and today as partner at TPC Leadership where he is heading the German office. As the co-founder of our Emerging Leaders Training program, he is a close partner and colleague with regard to leadership development, team building, and related activities.

Songya is a three-time Silicon Valley entrepreneur who currently acts as managing director of a leadership consultancy, working with startups and corporations alike. She is a PCC-recognized Executive Coach and received her BSc. and MSc. from Stanford University and her MBA from the University of Cambridge. As the co-founder of our Emerging Leaders Training program, she is a close partner and colleague with regard to leadership development, team building, and related activities.

Olaf has been responsible for organisational and change projects as an external consultant over the last 10+ years combining direct practical relevance from his own management background with professional methods as a change agent.

Lena Kuenkel is an experienced project leader who brings deep experience in operational design and strategy development. She advises senior leadership teams in the development of working models and structures whilst creating positive and inclusive work environments. She led the European team at BCG’s non-profit foundation Centre for Public Impact building on a career as a strategy consultant. Lena holds degrees in business and economics from the Universities of St Andrews and Cambridge.

Sebastian is a strategy consultant, experienced project manager and coach with a background at Boston Consulting Group. He develops and leads communication along all management and team levels and across business units, always keeping the organisation and employees in mind. He has led large-scale and prestigious programmes and contributed to growth acceleration and process optimisation during implementation. He has in-depth project experience in mining, machinery, industrial goods, finance, consumer goods and telecommunications.
